How to cancel Peloton

Peloton offers two main subscription types: the All-Access Membership (paired with a Peloton bike or treadmill) and the Peloton App subscription (for using the app without hardware). Both can generally be canceled through the Peloton website, though the process and implications differ between the two.

Canceling the All-Access Membership means you lose access to the live and on-demand class library on your Peloton hardware. Canceling the App subscription ends access through the app. If you own Peloton equipment, you should consider which subscription type you hold before canceling.

Steps

  1. Sign in to Peloton

    Go to onepeloton.com and sign in to your account.

  2. Go to Membership settings

    Navigate to your account settings or profile and look for a Membership or Subscription section.

  3. Locate your active subscription

    Find your current Peloton membership or app subscription in the list.

  4. Select Cancel Membership

    Click the option to cancel your membership. Peloton may present retention offers or alternative options before proceeding.

  5. Confirm cancellation

    Follow any remaining prompts and confirm your cancellation. You should receive a confirmation email.

Things to know

  • Only the primary account holder can cancel an All-Access Membership — secondary profiles on the same membership do not have permission to cancel.
  • Canceling the All-Access Membership does NOT stop Peloton hardware financing or rental payments. Equipment financing and rental are billed separately and must be managed through Peloton's financing or rental agreement independently of the membership.
  • If you cancel the All-Access Membership, your Peloton hardware still works but you lose access to the live and on-demand class library.
  • Peloton App subscribers cancel through the app store if they signed up via Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Cancellation terms and any applicable fees depend on your specific membership contract — review it or contact Peloton support for clarification.
